Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Engineering For Kids believes everyone should be able to find and reach us online, including people with disabilities. We work to make this page usable for all visitors.
Standard we follow
This page is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we have done
- The whole page works with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- Text and buttons have strong color contrast, and color is never the only way information is shown.
- All meaningful images have text descriptions; decorative photos are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings, landmarks and link names are structured for screen readers, and links that open a new tab say so.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% and the layout adapts to phones without sideways scrolling.
- Motion is reduced for visitors who turn on the “reduce motion” setting on their device.
- There is no flashing content, no time limits, and no audio or video that plays by itself.
Known limitations
Some links lead to outside websites and social networks (such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp). Their accessibility is the responsibility of those services. The QR code image is visual by nature; the same page can always be reached by typing its web address, stemjerusalemkids.org.
Accessibility coordinator and contact
If you find an accessibility problem, or need information in another accessible format, please contact our accessibility coordinator on WhatsApp (opens in a new tab). Please describe the problem, the page and the device or assistive technology you used. We aim to reply within 7 business days.
